Current Research Study
We have a new online research study starting in February 2026 for parents with babies 4-7 months old living in Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, and Wyoming. Schedule an informational video chat on our Calendly.
We will ask you to record a short 5-10 minute video of your baby doing their favorite activity. This video will help us learn more about your baby and their day-to-day experiences. We will keep your video confidential and only use it for research purposes.
We will also ask you questions about your family, your parenting experience, and your baby's development. These help us describe your family so that we can combine your experiences with those of other families. We keep all of your information private and confidential.
You will receive a $20 virtual gift certificate as compensation for completing the study.
Past Research
We opened the Parent and Baby Project at The College of Idaho in 2019. Parents and their 5-12 month old babies visited our office for a short visit. We asked questions about the family and their baby's development. We observed the baby doing simple things they do every day - looking, listening, and playing. We had to pause this study in March 2020.​​
